ProofHub Update: Enhance Your ProofHub Account with Custom Domain Name

In our latest update, we have launched custom domain feature. Now you can use a custom domain yoursite.com or custom sub-domain abc.yoursite.com for your ProofHub account, instead of the default address you get when you sign up, like example.proofhub.com. For using custom domain option you should have already registered domain if not then you can register your domain with Godaddy, pairNIC, Register etc.

Steps to use custom domain name:

• Login your ProofHub account
• Go to Settings tab

• Then Choose Domain Preference option
• Click “Use a custom domain name” option
• Enter your Custom domain, if your domain points to ProofHub server then need not to do anything and wait for 24 – 48 hours for the change to take effect.

• If your Custom domain doesn’t point to ProofHub server then Follow the registrar’s instructions to point the domain’s or sub-domain’s A-record (IP address) to 66.228.37.158

Please note that you need to change your domain’s or sub-domain’s A Record, not its name servers. And, you don’t need to forward or redirect anything, you only need to change the A Record.

Once you’ve done this, you may need to wait up to 24 – 48 hours for the change to take effect. If the domain is set up properly, you should see your ProofHub account when you visit your custom domain.
