Very important point you covered here. We have been using project management systems for almost 5 years now, and I always wished our current system could have a chat feature but the current provider does not seem to be willing to integrate it in the system. We have been telling them how ability to chat within the browser can eliminate the need to installing 5-10 different chat software and being online on all of them is a pain.
